Deana Panza, LAPC, NCC, RYT

I believe that life’s challenging times hold the opportunity for deep personal growth. I know that while each client is a unique individual, we all have the ability to evolve and heal. I work to create an environment of non-judgement, empowerment, and trust to support you in your journey toward wellness. I value you as the expert on your own life experiences and know that the best outcomes are achieved when we work together to achieve your therapeutic goals.

As your counselor, I will utilize an integrative approach that blends Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Mind-Body approaches, and Internal Family Systems to help you meet your therapeutic needs. I take a holistic approach to treatment with warmth, understanding, and compassion. I work with adolescents and adults with a strength-based perspective that interweaves mindfulness, self-acceptance, creativity, and self-discovery.

I am a dedicated and compassionate clinician who feels it is a privilege to help my client’s navigate their personal journey towards wellness, self-acceptance, and inner strength. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University and my Bachelor’s degree from The University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. I received my Certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies from Dr. Bessel van der Kolk and his team at the Trauma Research Foundation. Further, I am a Registered Yoga and Meditation Teacher and find that these practices are a great asset in therapy.

I work with individuals and groups who are affected by:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma

  • Grief and Loss

  • Substance Abuse

  • Relationship Challenges

  • Stress Management and Self-Care

  • Life Transitions

To achieve the best therapeutic experience and outcome I tailor my approach for each client.
